A chronograph is usually understood through multiplication of items. More hands, more counters and more pushers signal a watch built to measure events beyond ordinary timekeeping. The Vulcain Heritage 50’s Monopusher Chronograph takes the opposite route. Its defining feature is a single control at two o’clock that starts, stops and resets the chronograph in sequence. What appears simple on the outside depends on carefully ordered mechanics beneath the dial. The result is a sports watch whose character comes from restraint: technically serious, visually linked to the manners of another era.
