PRESENTING: The URWERK «UR-105 CC» for CronotempVs Collectors

CronotempVs Collectors is proud to present its first limited edition with URWERK Geneve. The «UR-105 CC» based on their «Turbine Automatic» is the first CronotempVs Collectors edition. The UR-105 CC will be delivered to the owners in an exclusive event hosted by CronotempVs Collectors.

The UR-105 CC commemorates the very last edition in this configuration ever to be made by URWERK. The UR-105 CC will be delivered by Felix & Martin personally in early spring of 2018*.

For many advanced watch collectors URWERK has been a reference for a unique display of time inside a superlative watchmaker philosophy. For now over 20 years Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frey have been at the forefront of a new generation of watchmakers not satisfied with only the traditional art of horology but strived for the combination of that skill in a modern and revised philosophy. Their «satellite complications» have become a trademark of the brand and absolute reference of an alternative means to tell time.

HOUR SATELLITE INDICATION AND TURBINE AUTOMATIC

Four satellites, each carrying three hour numerals, successively reveal themselves as they parade past the minute rail to display the time.The movement’s automatic winding is optimally regulated by dual air turbines on full show on the back.

PEEK CANOPY

Four satellites, each carrying three hour numerals, successively reveal themselves from under a sublime guilloche black cover in PEEK (PolyEtherEtherketone) as they parade past the minute rail to display the time.

FORGED-ALUMINUM SATELLITES

At the heart of UR-105 time display four forged-aluminium satellites slowly orbit. Each of these satellites is visible during their 60-minute journey along the minute scale.

CARROUSEL IN ARCAP

The carrousel is a critical component and is made from ARCAP, which has been treated with ruthenium then micro-bead blasted to a finish meeting the very highest standards of fine watchmaking.

DUAL AIR TURBINES

The two turbines visible on the back are coupled to the rotor to regulate the winding system of the watch. These micro-rotors are bead-blasted, satin-finished and treated with black PVD for perfect aesthetics.

WINDING RATE CONTROL LEVER

The winding mode is adjusted via the small lever above the turbines. In the “FULL” position, only the slightest movement is needed to wind up the mainspring.

«RED.» (for “REDUCED”) moderates the winding so as to minimise excessive tension on the mainspring. On «STOP» mode, the winding system is disabled and the UR-105 TA can then be hand-wound if necessary by the crown.
