Girard-Perregaux «Laureato Absolute Chronograph» For ONLY WATCH AUCTION

In what has become a tradition for Girard-Perregaux, the Maison will once again be participating in this year’s edition famous Only Watch auction to benefit research on neuromuscular diseases. Placed under the high patronage of H.S.H. The Prince of Monaco, Only Watch is a benchmark international watchmaking charity event.

As a sign of its commitment and deep respect for the cause promoted by the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy, the Maison has created a one-of-a-kind model designed to appeal to the numerous enthusiasts and connoisseurs who will flock to support this event.

This unique watch is based on a contemporary interpretation from the Laureato collection presented last January at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. Its broader diameter and taut lines make the Laureato Absolute Chronograph a distinguished timepiece exuding an aura of deliberately sophisticated forcefulness. Pleasingly lightweight due to its black PVD-coated titanium case and water-resistant to 300 metres, it embodies a quiet strength harbouring a distillation of technology.

Attired in the blue and dark grey colours of Only Watch 2019, the Laureato Absolute Chronograph radiates a charisma accentuated by its distinctive interpretation of the attributed Pantone shades: an anthracite sunburst dial, blue hour-markers, hands and second hand, edging on the push-pieces in the same shade and finally the delicately polished and deep azure-lacquered ONLY WATCH logo adorning the screw-in case-back.

With this striking model, Maison Girard-Perregaux is proud to contribute to the success of the eighth edition of this important and necessary event.
