While many inventions in horology are up for debate the chronograph Nicolas Mathieu Rieussec does not escape controversy neither. Invented in 1822, this concept has taken roots and a real use only since Nicolas Mathieu Rieussecperfected the concept. Since the “CronotempVs III” needed to be a chronometer complication what better way to pay tribute than to choose the Nicolas Rieussec “Chronograph”.
Mono-pusher chronographs are not very common and this integrated mechanism with dual-time, date, day & night indication is a very rare development.
