Jaeger-LeCoultre «Grand Sport»

Here is a brief photo essay of what is my absolutely favorite Reverso ever made, the Grand Sport.

After so many years it still baffles me that so much can be placed inside such a small case. A true testament to what «Haute Horlogerie» is all about. There is no doubt, when I look at the Jaeger-LeCoultre catalogue, that this is when the «excellence» of this brand really started. The Grand Sport is an absolute engineering feat. Hours, munites, central seconds, date, retrograde chronograph and chronograph on/off indication. Stunning.

Would love to see this Reverso again but in a slightly larger case and classic lugs to add a standard leather strap.
